Founder and General Manager of Launch Istanbul Sinem Demirci has given a Ted talk on December 2020. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. In her talk Ms Demirci gives information about the business she set up in a completely foreign country to her and she gives advice to especially women who have hesitations in taking action. Born in Istanbul, June 1985 Sinem Demirci is the General Manager of Launch Istanbul, with offices in Turkey and in Africa/Ghana, managing export and import of operations between Turkey and many other regions.


Launch İstanbul launched Ghana Warehouse – 2019

Launch İstanbul has established its new, dedicated warehouse unit in Accra, Sakumono with the warehouse space of over 750 sqm. The location in the centre of Accra will enable efficient storing and delivery throughout the country.

Turkish Manufacture’s Expo 2016 - Ghana

Launch İstanbul attends The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC) first Turkish Products Fair in Ghana which was aimed at boosting trade relations between the two countries Ghana and Turkey, August 2016. The fair, first of its kind, held in Accra Movenpick hosted over 50 companies and more than 500 products. Many sectors like food, cosmetics, electronics, construction items, kitchen devices, textiles and home appliances were represented at the fair.

The fair was orginised by the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC), and was intended to open up more investment opportunities in Ghana and Turkey.


Launch İstanbul Supported by Exim Bank – 2018

Launch İstanbul has been granted a credit line by Turk Eximbank, Turkey’s official export credit agency. “ Turk Eximbank meets the financial needs of export sectors in line with the developments taking place in the global and Turkish economies. As the sole official export credit agency in Turkey, Turk Eximbank plays an especially important role through its policies in support of exports. In all of the lending programs, give priority to firms based in the so-called priority development areas and to SMEs.”
